ORLANDO, Fla. – October 6, 2008 – At their booth at the National Business Aviation Association Annual Meeting and Convention in Orlando, Fla., StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company announced they have been selected by Aviation Partners International (API) to be their newest Blended Winglet Installation Center for the Hawker 800 and Hawker 800XP series aircraft.

API Blended Winglets enhance Hawker performance by decreasing fuel burn by seven percent, increasing range by 180 nautical miles and increasing speed by 15 knots. Plus, operators can depart from high-altitude airports on hot days with up to 1,500 pounds more weight.

“As StandardAero expands beyond turbine-engine MRO, adding API Blended Winglet Authorization for Hawker 800-series aircraft simply adds to our substantial menu of business aircraft modification and enhancement options,” said StandardAero President and CEO Rob Mionis. “We will continue to add offerings that provide value to our customers.”
