Aviation Partners Boeing Elects David Hurley to Board of Directors

World Leader in Design, Development and Marketing of Winglet Technology Announces Important Addition to Team

David C. Hurley has been elected to Aviation Partners Boeing’s Board of Directors and has been appointed Senior Advisor to the Board of Aviation Partners Inc. With his unique and extensive background in both business and commercial aviation Hurley will be an important addition in Aviation Partners continuing global market penetration of Blended Winglet Technology.

Hurley currently serves as Chairman of the National Air and Space Museum Board and Vice Chairman of the business aviation group PrivatAir, in Geneva. A 15,000-hour airline transport rated pilot, Hurley began flying at age 14 in a Stinson Voyager. He is an alumnus of Hartwick College, served three years in the Special Services branch of the U.S. Army and later held senior management positions with Canadair and Cessna Aircraft. After founding Flight Services Group in 1984, Hurley was named CEO of PrivatAir when it acquired Flight Services Group in 2000. Hurley serves on the boards of Genesee and Wyoming Railroad and Hexcel and Genesis Leasing He also serves on the board of the Corporate Angel Network, which arranges free air transportation for cancer patients traveling for treatment, and is a member of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots and the Wings Club.
